The original tank for the StreetCHOPPER ended up developing a large stress crack at the rear seam soon after installing it on the bike. After a number of tries to repair it, I gave up. Just sick of messing with it and not being able to rectify the problem. So it's been turned into a wall decoration for now. Which ultimately works for the better. recently I've been sketching up new ideas for a tank and this evening decided to put them into action.
It's a very narrowed CB750F tank from the late 80's early 90's. I've taken somewhere in the ball park of 6" from the middle and started tacking them back together. It's got a great shape to it in my eyes. Reminiscent of a WCC villain tank.
