So after a month of nothing, I came back with nothing really that interesting to post, but I figure a month of being stagnant... I can fake it.
Anyway, here's the happs around StreetKORE. I've been on hiatus for 2 months. I wish I could say I have been lounging on a remote island, but I haven't. It's the usual knuckle down and get to work Scrapyard mentality just refocused in other avenues. But hopefully soon we'll be back to playing with motorcycles on a regular basis. I'll post some shots of the new shop space once we get setup.
In the mean time though, I have had some time to delve deeply into my inner psyche and drum up some new ideas and play around with some old ones that have been gnawing at me. First thing I need to do once back in the shop is tear the StreetCHOPPER back apart and clean up a few things that were done in a hasty attempt to get it running. After that it's time to start a new project.
I'm torn between 2 ideas. One is a redux of a project that was started a few years ago that never saw the light of day. This is a photoshop of a couple bikes inspired by Duckman of www.dbbp.com .
The other is an idea I've been pinning over for the past 3 years. Dual SSSA's, Hub center steering, 240 rear tire, 200 front tire, Torque Thrust wheels, big Wilwood brakes, all hand fabed frame, suspension, bodywork.
Time will tell what happens first. Stay tuned.
