ZX7 Custom
A project that has been on and off the past 6 months. Much work has gone into this bike and it still continues. Customer brought in a 1994 ZX750L back in Nov. 2011 with transmission problems. Soon after repairing a bad 2nd gear issue. The following months the project snowballed. Engine rebuild, Single Sided Swingarm swap, Suspension rebuild, R6 tail swap, subframe chop, smooth, Full Polish of frame, swingarm. Shorty Yoshimura exhaust, Powder coat and Paint, the list goes on.
The Starting point. 1994 Kawasaki ZX750L.

XS650 StreetCHOPPER Update
Getting that much closer to hitting the street. Little bit of bodywork and getting the final wiring sorted.
Welded up the front of the gas tank.
Welded up the front of the gas tank.
Started smoothing out the welds and wrinkles.
Finally made a battery box and relocated and cleaned up the wiring.
Installed the headlight.
And added the velocity stacks.
Coming together.

XS650 StreetCHOPPER Update
Finally got back to work on the StreetChopper today. It's all coming down to the details and finishes now. See if I can't have this thing done in time to run it at the Bike Bash in a couple weeks.
Chopped the fender mounts from the forks, de-seamed the casting line from the lower triple, panted the fork lowers and the wheel.
Some work that was done before moving the shop. The ugly as fuck trailer fender is binned. I honestly couldn't stand it. Buddy of mine gave me the idea of making something a bit more suited to the style of the bike. We spent an evening hammering and welding up some sort of a drag seat. It looks killer and fits the bike and your butt perfect.
More of a detail piece, but it is fast becoming a signature StreetKORE part. Glass brake fluid reservoir fitted to the rear master cylinder.
